This is wild! The opening chords of Dear March reminded me of Indigo Girls, which made me happy. And the heavy metal version...hilarious! It actually kind of works.
Ohh, I like the Indigo Girls comparison! I think "One need not be a chamber to be haunted" sounds like Melissa Etheridge. You're right, the heavy metal version works, somehow. :)
“The world is burning and everything is amazing!” is so apt.
AI—OMG.
It was very nice to have a visit with some of Emily Dickinson’s poems and your musings this morning. After some very cold days the sun has come out here and I have Dear March playing. It’s so cheery!
I loved this! The heavy metal one actually sounded a bit like Iron Maiden.... or Jack Black! You always surprise me with your ideas and talent for looking at things in a way most of us wouldn't, but wish we had. You rock, Jody! (But keep those plants alive. Pretty sure they prefer classical music, or maybe Fleetwod Mac.)

It is cheery! Looking out the window at snow, I'm ready to fling open the door to spring, too.
The heavy metal one is the best!
Honestly, I liked it, too. ;)

Thanks, Susan! I'm glad you liked it. Hope no Dickinson scholars bap me on the head. I'll give the plants George Winston tomorrow...
